Ned Ward (our favorite local historian and wonderful gentleman) will lecture on John Guenster Boats.

At the turn of the last century, John Guenster built St Lawrence Skiff boats in his shop in  Jamestown, New York. Enjoy learning more about this bit of local history. These boats were built right here on our lake and TLC is privileged to have 2 of them in our collection.

Water skiing has been a favorite sport of many and that, of course, led to shows where expert water skiers could leave an audience gasping.  Join us for a trip down memory lane with a presentation on water ski shows through the ages.

Boat Shop Volunteers: Giff Lawrence, Andy Robinson and crew

The Volunteers in the Boat Shop always have several projects underway. Come learn about what has been going on over the winter and spring and their plans for what might come next. You can also learn how you might get involved, rent space in the shop ( if you are a member) or maybe get your own questions about restoration answered.
